About Susan

Susan Stivalo is a Doctor of Nursing Practice with clinical training spanning nursing, aesthetic medicine, and a Masters in Clinical Nutrition and weight management. She opened Advanced Health & Aesthetics because she believed aesthetics practice could and should be grounded in the same standard of clinical rigor she was trained to apply in other settings.

Her approach to consultation reflects that background

Before any treatment is recommended, Susan reviews a patient’s full health history, current medications, nutritional habits, body composition, skin condition, and treatment goals. She asks questions that a lot of aesthetics providers don’t ask. She considers factors that are often left out of the conversation. And she tells patients when something they’ve come in requesting is not, in her clinical opinion, the right next step for them. That kind of honesty is not always what patients expect. It is consistently what they value.

Clinical philosophy

Every recommendation is preceded by a thorough assessment. Patients receive honest clinical guidance, including candid conversations about when a treatment is not appropriate or not yet indicated. Aesthetics and nutrition are evaluated as part of one clinical picture. The goal is a long-term patient relationship, not a single transaction.

Advanced Health and Aesthetics was designed to reflect the standard of care Susan provides: white and gold finishes, a Zen Lounge, an espresso bar, a bubble wall, and private treatment rooms built for patient comfort alongside clinical function.
